I'm Josie, and I use 35mm Film to tell stories. I'm a photographer who believes a great portrait should feel like a discovery - a moment where you truly see yourself for who you are.

For five years, I've been shooting editorial portraits, creating vibrant, soulful images with my vintage Ricoh cameras and mastering specialty Cinefilm.

My style is a product of what I grew up influenced by and still love. I'm obsessed with the neon soaked worlds of Blade Runner, the striking aesthetics of Tron, and the high contrast drama of Blade, the otherworldly romanticism of Stargate. I've spent years obsessing over these aesthetics and mastering RGB lighting paired with specific film stocks to create a look that feels entirely my own, (and dare I use that buzz word ‘cinematic’!) with a soft, feminine touch that ties it all together.

This isn't your average photoshoot either! I don't just point a camera and call it a day, this is a true collaboration. The way I see the world and translate your lived experiences into art is what makes the final result so personal and unlike any other photographer you’ve ever worked with.
